Maintenance Manager u2013 Wastewater Facilities Compensation: Competitive salary + benefits + company vehicle Location: Blue Bell, PA Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across multiple wastewater treatment facilities. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic oversight of maintenance programs, vendor management, and bidding processes for current and future projects. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee maintenance activities for wastewater treatment plants, including pumps, valves, motors, and related systems. + Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. + Manage bidding and contractor selection for maintenance and capital improvement projects. + Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, state/local). + Supervise and mentor maintenance staff; coordinate training and certifications. + Monitor budgets, control costs, and maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS or similar systems. + Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize plant performance and reliability. + Serve as primary liaison with vendors and contractors for repairs, upgrades, and procurement. Qualifications: + 5+ years of maintenance management experience, preferably in water/wastewater or industrial facilities. + Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; familiarity with SCADA/PLC controls a plus. + Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. + Valid driveru2019s license; ability to travel between sites (company vehicle provided). + Wastewater operator certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blue Bell, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
