Finance Manager

Description We are looking for a skilled Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting related to clinical trial costs. This long-term contract position is based in Burlington Massachusetts and requires someone with a strong background in financial management and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial modeling, reporting, and analysis to drive process improvements and support organizational goals. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead the financial planning and analysis process for clinical trial costs, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment. u2022 Provide expert consultation and strategic insights to project teams and functional leaders to guide decision-making. u2022 Develop and implement continuous improvements to financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency. u2022 Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. u2022 Create detailed financial models to forecast costs and evaluate key business metrics. u2022 Prepare comprehensive financial reports for stakeholders, highlighting trends and actionable insights. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational objectives. u2022 Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization. u2022 Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies. u2022 Support the development of long-term financial strategies that align with company goals. Requirements u2022 Minimum of five years of experience in financial management or analysis. u2022 Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting. u2022 Strong skills in financial modeling and forecasting techniques. u2022 Demonstrated ability to perform detailed financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations. u2022 Experience with process improvement initiatives within financial systems. u2022 Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. u2022 In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
