Job Description u2022u2003Business Analyst is a trained IT functional systems analyst and consultant working to improve business capabilities by facilitating the implementation of process and system improvements. u2022u2003They will work in a highly collaborative setting of internal and external staff, and with key business partners in the support of existing production systems and in the execution of new system projects. u2022u2003They will serve as a functional expert in Supply Chain System, specifically Warehouse Management System. u2022u2003They will work closely with the business stakeholders to identify system needs, provides guidance and influence throughout the process from concept to implementation. u2022u2003They will document requirements and assume responsibility for obtaining sign-off from customer and business partners on moderate to highly complex projects. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements u2022u2003Performing business analysis activities at the strategic, operational, and organizational level; working with key users in the continual improvement of business processes u2022u2003Highlight/identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders on moderate to highly complex projects. u2022u2003Collaborating on project efforts in the support of existing systems, processes, services and/or in the execution of new projects, including: u2022u2003Capturing Business User Stories and Requirements u2022u2003Providing analytical support to maximize product performance by understanding system capabilities,user needs, and user experience. u2022u2003Creating detailed Functional Designs for technical counterparts u2022u2003Creating and executing test plans, including capturing and working through solutions to defects u2022u2003Develop user documentation for newly created processes and system enhancements u2022u2003Project timelines are communicated to the Project Managers and are completed on time u2022u2003Uses logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions u2022u2003Graduate degree in information systems, computer science, or a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience u2022u20037+ years of experience supporting IT systems, processes or capabilities. General understanding of IT processes and dynamics within a complex, highly integrated environment u2022u2003A solid understanding of industry best practices in retail or IT; specific demonstrated experience mapping business processes and comparing those processes to industry best practices u2022u2003Strong analytical, problem solving, and root cause analysis skills u2022u2003Understanding of application development and software development lifecycle concepts u2022u2003Good written and verbal communication skills are crucial for working with all stakeholders (i.e. Use Case and User Story Development) u2022u2003Preferred experience with Agile and Waterfall approaches
