Job Description

Overview The Journeyman Electrician will provide leadership, Service, Troubleshooting, efficient installation. inspection, repair, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and corrective/reactive repair work of electrical systems related to buildings, facilities, EVCS (Electrical Vehicle Charging Systems) and related systems. Job Descriptions u00b7 Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial, industrial electrical systems and EVCS. u00b7 Use industry related hand tools and power tools. u00b7 Measure, cut, bend, thread, etc. and install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems. u00b7 Repair, maintain, trouble shoot and inspect Building Electrical systems, EVCS and all related System. u00b7 Install, repair, maintain, and test other electrical systems such as Fire Life safety systems, PA systems, Security systems, Control systems, Robotic systems, Micro Grids, and related systems. u00b7 Work on low voltage and high voltage system as per authorization and level of trainings & certifications u00b7 Feed to pull into, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, switches, etc. u00b7 Splice and terminate wires at junction points. u00b7 Troubleshoot equipment electrical systems and control circuits and build control panels from drawings. u00b7 Prepare sketches and schematic diagrams showing the location of wiring and electrical systems. u00b7 Work on Emergency generators, Power distribution Units (PDU), Uninterrupted Power Supply Systems (UPS), DC Batteries, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and related systems. u00b7 Develop, review, and execute Electrical Safety Job Plans, Job safety Analysis (JSA) and Job Hazard analysis (JHA). u00b7 Communicate effectively with facility team member, engineering team members & supervisors. u00b7 Adhere to all NEC, NFPA, NFPA 70 B NFPA 70E OSHA Local, state, federal and building owneru2019s safety procedures and protocols. u00b7 Read, interpretation, review and analysis of electrical drawings, sketches, line diagrams, etc. u00b7 Does progressively more difficult work and accepts more responsibility while learning the job, ultimately doing the work required as per changing business environment. u00b7 Performs other duties as required. Requirements u00b7 Must possess a current and valid Journeyman Electrician Certification or C-10 License. u00b7 NOTE : Include your Certification/License Number when applying u00b7 Minimum 5 years overall experience after obtaining the Journeyman Certification/License (Those who do not have certification/license must have minimum 5 yearsu2019 experience as journeyman electrician) and at least 2 yearsu2019 experience with EVCS. u00b7 Knowledge of National electrical codes, NFPA codes specially NFPA 70, 70B, 70E 72 and all related uniform building codes and international building codes. u00b7 Training of NFPA 70E, PPE, Electrical safety procedures & processes. u00b7 Demonstrated ability to read/interpret drawings and wire diagrams. u00b7 Possesses working knowledge/understanding of Electrical Code (both local and IEEE) as it applies to controls. u00b7 Experienced in scope determination of installation materials. u00b7 May be required to achieve and maintain other certifications as required to perform job duties. u00b7 Must respond to, and address, callouts, and emergencies (within 1 hour) during and after regular business hours including after dark hours, which require carrying a communication device when on rotational call. u00b7 Job planning and prioritizing with a strong client focus. u00b7 Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules. u00b7 Knowledge of Lock/Tag Out Protocol, OSHA, and other Electrical safety procedures. u00b7 May work in low-lit areas. u00b7 Be available for shift work when applicable. u00b7 Must be able to frequently climb to and work from elevated platforms, excavated areas, ladders, stairwells, walkways, articulating lifts, etc. Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicantu2019s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
