Lead Cleaner

Overview Position Summary We are seeking a Lead Cleaner to oversee the 2nd shift cleaning operations at a theatre venue. This role includes supervising cleaning activities across various areas, including a public plaza and public park . The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with union guidelines while leading a team of cleaners. Frontline Job Postings Pay: $24.20 an hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM Team Member Benefits Front Line Team Members (Flyer - Frontline.pdf) (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) (Flyer - Frontline (Spanish).pdf) Key Responsibilities + Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff during the 2nd shift. + Ensure all assigned areas (including public plaza and park) are maintained to the highest standards. + Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training as needed. + Maintain compliance with union rules and company policies. + Inspect work areas regularly and address any issues promptly. + Communicate effectively with management and team members. + Handle inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. + Respond to urgent cleaning requests and resolve problems quickly. Qualifications + Experience: Minimum 2 years in a supervisory cleaning role; union account experience preferred. + Language: Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) . + Strong leadership and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively. + Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and equipment use. + Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required. Physical Requirements + Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. + Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
