Sr. Staff System & Application Engineer u2013 Power Electronics Job Description u00b7 Market survey and definition of power products and specifications for server power market. u00b7 Collaborate with customers, sales, product line marketing, applications, design and validation engineers to define architecture and specifications. u00b7 Benchmark existing solutions to understand the state of the art. u00b7 Silicon bring up and testing of key system performance parameters. u00b7 Design and develop proof-of-concepts and reference designs of power solutions for server market. u00b7 Develop calculators, simulation models, datasheet for releasing new products to market. u00b7 Perform system-level analysis for power integrity, thermal performance, and fault response. u00b7 Create application notes and reference designs demonstrating new products in real-world use cases. u00b7 Support customers and internal teams with design reviews and debugging for product adoption. Qualifications u00b7 Masters/PhD in Electrical or Electronics engineering with 10+ years experience u00b7 Strong expertise in power electronics including DC-DC converters. u00b7 Hands-on experience with PCB schematics/layout and CAD tools. u00b7 Expertise in control theory and feedback loop analysis. u00b7 Familiarity with power integrity analysis and simulation tools (PSpice, Simplis, MATLAB). u00b7 Skilled in lab debugging and validation techniques. u00b7 Experience with generating collateral like datasheets, user guides and training & promotion materials. Preferred Skills u00b7 Experience with server/telecom power architectures. u00b7 Experience with digital communications protocols like I2C, PMBus etc. u00b7 Ability to write clear technical documentation and application notes. u00b7 Strong communication and collaboration skills.
