Location: Chantilly, VA Shift Options: + $17/hr-Day Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 5:00 AM u2013 5:00 PM + $19.50/hr- Night Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 5:00 PM u2013 5:00 AM + _Includes $2.50/hour shift differential for night shift_ Job Summary The Maintenance Technician I supports equipment installation, repair, and preventive maintenance activities under supervision. This role works closely with production and Health & Safety teams to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and legal standards. Key Responsibilities + Install and commission new mechanical and electronic equipment in accordance with safety guidelines + Perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on production equipment + Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues + Coordinate equipment repairs and inspections with production staff + Work with Health & Safety teams to ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements + Track and document equipment performance indicators + Follow all PPE and safety protocols at all times Required Qualifications + Basic electrical or mechanical knowledge + Familiarity with maintenance tools, procedures, and safety practices + 1u20132 years of relevant maintenance or technical experience + Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions Preferred Qualifications + Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment + Exposure to preventive maintenance programs + Basic understanding of equipment performance tracking Physical & Work Requirements + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching + Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment components + Strong visual inspection and reading skills + Must wear required PPE including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and gloves As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
