You belonghere.Student Affairs Reports To: Associate Vice President-Student Affairs Travel: Occasional day travel to a Regional SiteLOCATION: Green Bay STANDARD HOURS: 24 hours a week between the hours of8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with the schedule to be determined upon hire.STARTING PAY RANGE: $17.33 per hour Grant Funded through June 30, 2030.POSITION SUMMARY The Part-Time TRIO Assistant provides essentialadministrative and program support for the TRIO Student Support Services(SSS) program at NWTC. This role helps ensure smooth day-to-dayoperations, supports student engagement, and assists with compliancetasks. The assistant serves as a welcoming point of contact for studentsand contributes to the success of TRIO participants by facilitatingaccess to resources and services under the direction of the TRIO ProgramManager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide clerical and administrative supportfor TRIO staff and program activities. Maintain accurate student recordsand help with data entry for compliance reporting. Assist with trackingstudent participation and progress. Help organize program files andmaintain confidentiality. Support outreach and recruitment effortsthrough communication and marketing tasks. Serve as a welcoming point ofcontact for TRIO participants and visitors. Assist with schedulingappointments, workshops, and cultural events. Answer phones, respond toemails, and manage program calendars Prepare materials for workshops andevents. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum associatedegree required. Strong organizational and communication skills. Abilityto work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills,including Microsoft Office. An equivalent combination of educationand work experience may be considered. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in an educational or student services setting. Familiaritywith TRIO programs or similar initiatives. Bilingual or multilingualabilities are a plus. Visual andAuditory: Ability to read documents and communicate effectively withstudents and staff. Light Lifting: Capability to lift and carrymaterials weighing up to 25 pounds.
