What'sinvolved in this role: Reporting to the Director Talent Acquisition, theTalent Acquisition Specialist - High Volume Hiring will play a crucialrole by identifying and attracting top talent to manufacturingoperations. The primary focus will be on recruiting both general labourand specialized workers for various roles within a geographical area(which may include one to three manufacturing sites). This extendsbeyond finding the right person for specific jobs. It requires abusiness mindset to understand the sites' production goals, to puttogether talent supply and demand needs in your market, and to createcustomized strategies to fill those gaps. Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Work closely with the Plant Director to developeffective recruitment strategies tailored to the manufacturing context,production goals and local talent supply. Partner with hiring managersacross different departments to customize talent attraction andrecruitment strategies to business goals for hourly positions, specificto the site(s) you will be supporting. Maintain knowledge of externallabour supply, market conditions and serve as recruitment subject matterexpert by providing advice and support to managers throughout therecruitment and hiring process. Serve as community ambassadors todevelop/maintain relationships with community organizations, technicalschools, high schools, etc. to build long term, sustainable candidatepipelines. Demonstrate salesmanship on recruitment trips by representingthe organization at industry and academic functions (career days, jobfairs, scholarship awards, etc.). Lead all phases of the recruitmentprocess for hourly positions (recruitment strategy, sourcing, candidateselection, interview, assessments and offer process) while ensuring apositive candidate experience. Identify and implement efficient andeffective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role,industry standards and the needs of the organization. Coordinate offerdetails and extend both verbal and written offers. Stay current with newrecruitment practices and methods, evaluating their relevance andrecommending their use. Take part in various ad hoc staffing and/orcorporate branding projects. Maintain compliance with federal and stateregulations concerning employment and hiring practices. Support...
