Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.Position SummaryThis position will assist the Manager of Food Services in all areas of the kitchen and will be present during meal times when the Manager of Food Services is not present.Prepare meals and maintain organization and cleanliness in the kitchenWork with the Manager of Food Services to plan meals and maintain adequate stockOversee kitchen detail and other resident staff in the kitchenSupervise monthly clean ups in the kitchenReport problems or issues concerning kitchen operations to the Manager of Food ServicesAssist Manager of Food Services in staffing, planning, and preparing special house eventsSupervise and accompany residents when using a van for house businessUse a van for food deliveries and other necessary pick-upsEducation/ExperienceHigh School Diploma or Equivalent requiredAt least two (2) years food service or restaurant experience requiredKnowledge of supplies, equipment and/or other services, such as ordering and inventory control highly preferredWorking knowledge of food borne illnessesServSafe Food Handler Certification RequiredBenefitsAspire prioritizes a work culture that takes care of employees not only at work but in their personal lives as well.
