Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.Overview: GreenSky is looking for a Software Engineer in Test that has strong data quality and quantitative skills in a finance-related field.Location: Atlanta, Georgia/Remote or HybridDeveloping standards for data quality and ensuring that these standards are followed throughout the organizationEvaluating the quality of data received from data sources to ensure that it meets company standardsCreating or updating data models to ensure that data is stored in an organized mannerWorking with other departments to establish procedures for data collection and analysisCreating reports on data quality issues and recommending solutions to problemsReviewing data to identify patterns or trends that may indicate errors or inconsistenciesCreating and implementing plans to improve data quality by identifying causes of errors or discrepancies and determining effective solutionsRecommending new data collection methods or technologies as needed to improve the quality of dataConsulting with other departments to determine how new data standards will affect their operationsProven track record (3+years) of successfully executing data quality activities including data validation, root cause remediation improvement, governance, and measurementAutomate regression test and perform functional, integration and load testing.Perform data validity, accuracy and integrity test across different components of the GreenSky systemProactively solve problems and suggest process improvements.Triage issues by analyzing the logs and working with the development team until the issues are resolvedUse SQL queries and analyze log files to test various ETL and data pipelines.Provide test case coverage and defect metrics to substantiate release decisionsArticulate issues to developers during meetings and particularly in the daily standupsBS in Computer Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or other relevant degree(s)Hands on experience with Automation testing using TypescriptManual QA testing experiencePerformance testing experienceExperience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment, Scrum and Kanban, with short turnaround timesStrong communication skills with the ability to understand and explain complex technical issues to a non-technical audienceStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyExperience with Snowflake 3+ years2-4 years database experience, preferably SQLDesired but not required Qualifications:Previous experience in a Fintech companyOur compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary for this role ranges from $95,000 per year to $140,000 per year. Compensation will be determined by several factors, including relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus within a comprehensive total rewards package, alongside a full suite of medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, and paid personal/sick time.
