You’ll lead by example, drive compliance, and champion best-in-class safety practices across our commercial construction projects.HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager in Chicago, IL to oversee and manage all on-site safety operations. This position is critical to maintaining OSHA compliance, supporting field leadership, and fostering a proactive safety culture across all job sites.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA complianceConduct daily safety meetingsComplete accident reports and conduct accident investigationsDaily safety audits and inspectionsOversee all subcontractors and contractorsOversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and ExcavationMinimum 7 years direct construction safety experience requiredDegree in a safety related field preferred OSHA 510 and or 500 a plusCHST or CSP preferredAdvance knowledge ofconstruction safety standardsExcellent written and verbal communication skills requiredProficient Microsoft Office skillsEmbody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, AccountabilityHazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
