Kimley-Horn's Plymouth Meeting, PA office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Natural Gas team! This is not a remote position.Our Natural Gas team works on projects including:Horizontal Directional Drill design, Distribution & Transmission pipeline design, Metering and Regulation Stations design, Natural Gas Generation & power plant design, Process Control Design and Integration, Compressor Stations, Pig Launcher/Receiver stations, DOT relocation and coordination, and more!Project Due Diligence and Site ConstraintsJurisdictional Permitting and Agency CoordinationAssist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedulesThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projectsYou will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationshipsYou will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors4+ years of relevant engineering design experienceProfessional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)Candidates should have experience within the Energy discipline including experiencewith design, permitting, and applicable software applicationsExperience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasksFamiliar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standardsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or CADWorxAbility to build plan sets and other construction documentsDesign experience that includes utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence and permittingCivil, Mechanical, Petroleum, Environmental EngineeringKnowledge of relevant codes and standards, including eCFR 49 Part 192 and ASME B31.8Candidates should have experience within the Oil and Gas discipline including experience with design, permitting, and applicable software applicationsAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
