APP - Wound Care Piedmont is recruiting for an APP to join our wound care team at Piedmont Newton Hospital. This is a full-time Monday through Friday position with no call responsibilities. You will work alongside two physicians providing care to a variety of wound care and hyperbaric oxygen patients within the inpatient and outpatient setting.In this role you will:Provide medical services to individuals, families and/or groups, including: diabetic ulcers, skin tears, non-healing surgical wounds, vascular insufficiencies, wound grafts and any other wound care or hyperbaric oxygen needs.Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management.Augment a physician’s ability to provide medical services to patientsCollect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services.Piedmont benefits:Competitive SalaryComprehensive BenefitsEPICGenerous CME allowanceQuality, Service, and ReputationRequirements:Qualified candidates with at least 3 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a wound care setting.Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National CertificationORLicensed as a Physician Assistant and approved to practice as a PA by State of Georgia with National CertificationPiedmont Medical Care Corporation
