Lead Systems Engineer/Developer - Foxboro

Works directly with customers to define functional requirements and design, configure, commission and qualify control systems utliziing Foxboro I/A.Lead teams of engineers and technicians to provide control system solutionsWork in team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys, partners and clients to provide state of the art Control Systems to improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturingDevelop Life Cycle documents, Electrical panels, Control Architecture and wiring drawings per GMP standardsRedline P&ID documentationDefine and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) & distributed control system (DCS) configurationsTesting and on-site commissioning and qualification of control systemsMentor less experienced engineersDevelop engineering standards to improve efficiency and accuracy of project executionProvide technical sales support to RoviSys business development teamManage a large project or several concurrent small to medium projects for projects executed in multiple RoviSys offices and customer locationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in automation or related fieldDemonstrates the ability to perform technical and managerial responsibilitiesCommunicate effectively and professionally with both customers and colleagues to present new ideas, accomplish challenging goals, and solve problemsAbility to guild a project with little supervision and guidanceProven track record of managing small projects from start to finishAbility to author proposals, change orders for new and repeat business through relationshipsThorough understanding of control system design and codingSelf-motivated, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with peopleHands-on experience with current PLC or DCS platformsDesired Qualifications:B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering or Engineering TechnologyElectrical design fundamentalsExperience with: Foxboro I/AThird party HMI/SCADA Software: GE/Intellution, WonderWare, OSIsoftProcess Control FundamentalsUnderstanding of process controlAwareness of process safety and good documentation practicesNetwork design/administrationCompetitive Base Salary: $90,000-$140,000, depending on experiencePerformance Bonuses:Bonus structure designed to reward resultsTravel Perks:Travel incentives + per-diem packages for field assignmentsFull Benefits Package:Medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement Ready:401(k) with company matchTime Off:Generous PTO which includes vacation, holidays, andunlimited personal timeGrow With Us:Ongoing training, certifications, and professional development support
