Controller

Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee operational and financial activities across multiple branches. This role involves ensuring accurate inventory management, analyzing financial data, and implementing cost control measures to optimize performance. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Controller will play a critical role in maintaining compliance and driving informed decision-making. Responsibilities: u2022 Monitor and maintain the accuracy and integrity of inventory records and work-in-progress activities across all branches. u2022 Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting systems, collaborating with vendors, customers, and government entities as needed. u2022 Coordinate and oversee physical inventory counts on a monthly and annual basis, ensuring proper valuation. u2022 Develop and implement cost analytics tools to provide actionable insights for improving operational performance. u2022 Prepare and deliver detailed financial analyses and reports to support strategic decision-making. u2022 Ensure adherence to standardized processes, operating procedures, and internal controls across all locations. u2022 Offer support and backup to team members and assist with on-site branch operations as required. u2022 Manage ad hoc reporting and contribute to special projects as assigned. u2022 Provide on-site assistance at branch locations when necessary. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. u2022 Knowledge of the construction industry and inventory management is beneficial. u2022 Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail in financial data. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to all organizational levels. u2022 Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role requiring attention to detail. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field.
