Location: Hybrid or Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Overview We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Development Lead to guide a distributed engineering team and oversee multiple project streams for our cloud-based SaaS platform. This leader will ensure high-quality, on-time delivery across complex initiatives involving cross-functional developers, DevOps engineers, and product stakeholders. The ideal candidate is both a strong technologist and a clear, proactive communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment with multiple dependencies. In this role, you will partner closely with the VP of Product and VP of Engineering, anticipating the information and insights they need while ensuring your team is aligned, coordinated, and fully supported. You will bring a blend of hands-on technical depth, team leadership, and project orchestration skills to steer the team toward predictable, repeatable success. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management + Lead and mentor a geographically distributed development team, promoting highu00a0performance, accountability, and collaboration. + Coordinate the day-to-day work of developers and DevOps engineers, ensuring clarity ofu00a0priorities, ownership, and responsibilities. + Manage multiple concurrent project streams, including complex roll-outs involvingu00a0cross-team dependencies. + Conduct regular stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning sessions, optimizing processesu00a0to increase speed and quality. + Identify resource gaps or friction points early and make micro-adjustments to keepu00a0deliverables on track. Project & Delivery Ownership + Own technical delivery from concept through execution, ensuring deadlines and qualityu00a0standards are met. + Map technical dependencies, risks, and integration points across teams and services,u00a0proactively mitigating delivery risks. + Collaborate with Product Management to transform business requirements intou00a0actionable technical specifications. + Provide clear, consistent updates to executive stakeholdersu2014anticipating questions andu00a0presenting information with confidence and precision. + Establish development standards, deployment processes, and best practices inu00a0partnership with Engineering leadership. Technical Expertise + Serve as a hands-on technical leader capable of guiding design decisions, reviewingu00a0code, and supporting architectural direction. + Work extensively with Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, networking,u00a0identity, integration, and security components. + Contribute to and oversee development in C# and .NET, ensuring modern codingu00a0standards, maintainability, and high reliability. + Design and guide implementation of distributed systems that interact with remoteu00a0resources and data pipelines. + Collaborate closely with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, andu00a0cloud-based deployment automation. + Troubleshoot complex production issues, leveraging logs, telemetry, and cloud-basedu00a0monitoring tools. Qualifications Required + 7+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 3 years inu00a0a technical leadership or team lead role. + Proven track record leading distributed development teams across multiple geographiesu00a0or time zones. + Strong project coordination abilities u2014 capable of managing numerous streams,u00a0dependencies, and milestones simultaneously. + Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership. + Deep expertise in Azure cloud services, including hands-on experience implementingu00a0scalable cloud-native solutions. + Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and relatedu00a0modern development patterns. + Working knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, andu00a0cloud deployment automation. + Experience designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining distributed systems or SaaSu00a0applications. Preferred + Experience in high-throughput or data movement systems (ETL, data pipelines, or cloudu00a0resource synchronization). + Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments (identity, secretsu00a0management, network boundaries). + Background in Agile/Scrum leadership, including backlog refinement and sprint planning. + Prior experience in environments with mixed onshore/offshore team composition.
