Director, Product Marketing - B2B SaaS Job Description: As Director of Product Marketing for Sage 50 in North America, youu2019ll lead product marketing for one of Sageu2019s core, revenue-driving platforms, trusted by hundreds of thousands of small businesses and a major contributor to the companyu2019s revenue. This role exists at a defining moment as the next generation of Sage 50 transitions into a fully cloud platform, including embedded AI capabilities through Sage Copilot, built for the next generation of small businesses. Youu2019ll own the product marketing strategy for Sage 50 as it enters its next chapter - shaping how the platform is positioned, adopted, and scaled in the market. This includes defining the narrative, guiding customers through the transition and bringing new innovation to market, including embedded AI through Sage Copilot. Your work will directly influence how Sage 50 is experienced, and chosen by small businesses going forward. This is a senior individual Director-level product marketer who wants real ownership and visible impact. Required: Hybrid; 3 days per week from our Atlanta office (Ponce City Market) Qualifications: u2022 8+ years of product marketing experience, including experience operating at a Director level with ownership of strategy, positioning, and go-to-market execution. u2022 Experience product marketing accounting, financial software, ERP, or complex B2B SaaS technology products u2022 Proven experience launching cloud-based technology products, including bringing new platforms or capabilities to market in competitive environments. u2022 Strong command of core product marketing disciplines, including positioning, messaging, value propositions, pricing and packaging, and launch strategy. u2022 Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels, translating market insight and product direction into clear, executable go-to-market plans. u2022 Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and channel teams in a matrixed organization. u2022 Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. u2022 Comfort presenting and representing products externally, including with customers, partners, or industry audiences, as well as internally. u2022 A creative, market-driven mindset, balanced with the discipline to execute in complex, fast-moving environments Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Product Marketing owns the strategy that connects product direction to revenue growth. In this role, youu2019ll partner closely with Product Management to help define the strategic direction of the Sage 50 portfolio over the next 3u20135 years, grounded in market dynamics, customer needs, and regional priorities. Youu2019ll translate that strategy into clear value propositions, positioning, pricing and packaging, and launch plans, then work with the Go-to-Market Execution team to bring those strategies to life u2014 driving adoption, revenue, and market share growth in the US and Canada. u2022 Own category strategy: Partner with Product Management to help define the strategic direction for Sage 50 in the US and Canada, grounded in market dynamics, customer needs, and long-term growth opportunities. u2022 Define and drive growth strategy: Translate market opportunity and customer insight into clear growth strategies and go-to-market plans that drive adoption, revenue, and market share. u2022 Be the market and customer expert: Maintain a deep understanding of target segments, customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends u2014 turning insight into actionable product marketing strategy. u2022 Lead positioning and value propositions: Define differentiated value propositions, positioning, and messaging that resonate with specific audiences and clearly articulate Sage 50u2019s value in the market. u2022 Own pricing and packaging strategy: Lead pricing, packaging, and tiering decisions in partnership with Product and Commercial teams to align customer value with business outcomes. u2022 Set launch strategy and activation: Define launch strategy for new capabilities and value propositions, then work with the Go-to-Market Execution team to bring them to market effectively and at scale. u2022 Guide external narrative and influence: Shape external messaging, thought leadership, and market presence, including analyst engagement and support for PR activities tied to launches and category momentum.
