The global supply chain also includes cultured and wild species from a network of trusted sources worldwide.Summary:The FSQA Technical Manager - Corporate is a highly experienced individual contributor who leads the resolution of complex food safety, quality, and regulatory challenges across Trident Seafoods' global consumer and commercial portfolio of seafood, pet food, and supplements. This role provides strategic oversight for seafood sustainability, regulatory compliance, supplier qualification, and HACCP planning, collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, procurement, sales, and marketing to drive innovation and regulatory alignment. Operating independently and often as a team leader, the Manager applies advancedexpertiseand judgment to promote continuous improvement and safeguard market access.Essential functions (responsibilities, tasks, supervisory needs)Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Lead resolution of complex FSQA and regulatory challenges, applying wide-ranging experience and innovative approaches to achieve dependently deliver high-impact assignments,determiningmethods and procedures for new projects and initiatives.Analyze multifaceted situations and data, exercising expert judgment in selecting techniques and evaluation criteria to obtainoptimalresults.Serve as a primary technical resource for cross-functional teams, including R&D, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure regulatory alignment and support product development and market readiness.Provide strategic leadership and oversight for supplier, ingredient, and contract manufacturer qualification processes, setting standards, resolving complex compliance issues, and ensuring effective risk mitigation.Network with key contacts outsideownarea of expertise to drive continuous improvement andmaintainbest-in-class compliance standards.Oversee supplier, ingredient, and contractmanufacturerqualification processes, including documentation review, facility audits, and product testing.Direct third-party laboratory testing programs for nutritional analysis, shelf-life studies, stability testing, and claim substantiation; synthesize results to guide strategic decisions.Maintain and enhance QA documentation and PLM system data, ensuring accuracy in specifications, allergen declarations, nutritional panels, and product claims.Monitor and interpret emerging regulatory trends and evolving standards; recommend and implement updates to internal policies and procedures.Respond to complex customer inquiries withaccurate, legally defensible, and standardized information.May coordinate activities of other FSQA personnel as a team lead, providing guidance and mentorship.This is an exempt position with an annualized salaryrange of $110,000 to $165,000.Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package.
