The Job: As a Customer Service Representative, youu2019ll be responsible for the administration of the day-to-day functional operations of a regional warehouse under the direction of the Regional Manager + Take and process customer orders via phone, mail, and through sales personnel + Execute requests for quotation from customers and prospects, according to the Regional Manager's guidelines + Handle effectively the expediting of customer and inventory orders + Provide total customer satisfaction by promptly and efficiently reacting to customer requirements, while working within established company guidelines + Distribution responsibilities include negotiating freight rates and tariffs, routing traffic, tracing shipments, obtaining proof of delivery, and the filing of freight claims + Analyze, administer, and order inventory for the regional location + Administration of the regional rental fleet + Processing customer returns and requests for credit and assistance in the resolving of credit problems + Maintain prompt communication with customers and company personnel + Contact of outside vendors for services, price, delivery, and the request of issuance of purchase orders for the same + Ordering of general and shipping supplies and administer and analyze daily cycle counting + Assist in the training of regional operations personnel The Person: + High school diploma or GED + 1-2 years front office experience + Microsoft Word, Excel experience The Details: Youu2019ll receive a competitive salary and a great benefits plan including: + Medical, dental, life, vision, wellness program, disability, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. + Discounts on Stanley Black & Decker tools and other partner programs. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
