Finance Director

As the Finance Director, you will support a business manager in one of Citizensu2019 lines of business and will be responsible for the development and implementation of the financial and operational plans to support a complex (or smaller, related) business unit(s). You will have responsibility for all financial matters of the assigned business unit(s) and will manage a staff. Generally, the Finance Director role will support a complex business area or multiple related smaller business areas. Youu2019re made ready for a fulfilling career with exciting new challenges and opportunities to stretch yourself Primary responsibilities include + Work closely with business unit Manager as well as Leadership team in development and implementation of business unit strategy. + Oversee all aspects of Financial management for the assigned business unit including month end close as well as planning and forecasting. + Closely monitor results of the assigned business unit and proactively work to identify risks and opportunities which are then communicated to management in a concise manner. + Apply a comprehensive understanding of metrics to provide value added analysis and high impact recommendations to Management. + Reinforce a strong accounting control environment that is in compliance with company policies and procedures. Provide strategic accounting advice to the assigned Leadership team. Encourage smart risk taking and innovative thinking. + Ensure business deliverables have a big impact on outcomes and are aligned with overall strategy. Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials + Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree required u2022 Demonstrated progressive finance experience in banking or financial services u2022 Deep expertise in deposit strategy, NII economics, ALM/Treasury, and pricing u2022 Strong understanding of FTP, liquidity frameworks, and balance sheet management u2022 Exceptional executive communication and leadership skills u2022 Preferred: Experience leading deposit finance at a large bank; advanced degree or CFA/CPA Hours & Work Schedule + Hours per Week: 40 + Work Schedule: Monday-Friday Some job boards have started using jobseeker-reported data to estimate salary ranges for roles.
