Jordan Health is now seeking aScheduler/Receptionist Unionwho, under the guidance of the Front Office Supervisor, is primarily responsible for working as a member of the patient services support team to provide an exceptional patient and clinical team experience. Effectively schedule patient appointments and all schedule-related transactions using a computerized system. Effectively fulfill other related clerical functions within the department. Education And Experience Required: u00b7 High School diploma or equivalent required. u00b7 One year of directly related experience in a health care setting (such as medical secretary, medical receptionist, etc.) is strongly preferred. u00b7 Two years working in a position requiring customer interaction, demonstrating the ability to handle competing priorities. u00b7 Accurate keyboarding skills. u00b7 Ability to use an office phone with special features. u00b7 Knowledge of customer service principles and practices. u00b7 Computer or business school training is highly desirable. u00b7 Bilingual preferred. Special Skills, Knowledge Required: Must be able to demonstrate competency in: u00b7 MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). u00b7 High level of accuracy when completing patient intake activities. u00b7 Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise. u00b7 eClinicalWorks or other electronic health record preferred. u00b7 Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role. u00b7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. u00b7 Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers). u00b7 Professional attitude and appearance. u00b7 Customer service attitude. u00b7 Tolerance for stressful situations. u00b7 Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role. u00b7 Experience with ECW or ability to quickly learn and use the system.
