Entry Level Hydrology Hydraulics

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professionalservices consulting firm, is seeking an entry-level hydrology &hydraulics engineer to join our collaborative and innovative waterresources team in Middleton, WI. Responsibilities include: Analyzing damand hydropower facilities, water conveyance systems, levee systems,bridges/culverts, watersheds and floodplains Construction document andcost development Report writing, quality control reviews, clientcommunication Designing water resources and other civil engineeringprojects Some travel will be required. The successful candidate musthave: A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering or closelyrelated engineering field from an accredited college or university-OR-- be able to obtain degree within three months of hire date Theideal candidate will have any/all of the following: Previous H&H, civil,or closely related engineering internship(s), or 1-2 years of relevanthydrology and hydraulics work experience Fluids, open channelhydraulics, and municipal hydraulics coursework or work experienceWatershed hydrology coursework or work experience Coastal engineeringcoursework or work experience Experience with H&H modeling software(e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, HydroCAD) Experience with spreadsheet andcoding solutions for engineering applications (e.g., MS Excel, VBA,Python, or MATLAB) Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience with ESRIGIS (ArcGIS Pro or similar) products for data editing and geoprocessingworkflows Experience working with teams to prepare products anddeliverables on time and within a specified budget Experience writingtechnical reports Experience presenting to clients/owners Have passedthe Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or possess the Engineer inTraining (EIT) certification If you have strong communication andorganizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well bothindependently and as part of a team, complete the online applicationprocess for this job posting at Mead & Huntproudly offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off,paid sick leave, parental leave, a 401K plan with a generous companymatch, life and disability insurance, and an employee assistanceprogram.
