JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Purpose The Field Service Representative assistswith the operation and troubleshooting of the Automated Meter ReadingSystem. Performs manual meter reads and executes other field activitiesas assigned.Core Responsibilities Note: This is not an all-inclusivelisting Inspection and Reporting: Visually checks meter installationsfor problems that could result in energy usage being improperlyrecorded. Observes and documents problems in work order system.Equipment Operation: Operates Company vehicles to drive daily mobileroutes and perform investigations. Customer Interaction and Support:Contact customers regarding usage trends to verify accurate billing anddeliver customer collection notices. Assists Field Inspectors withinvestigations and provides backup to Customer DataRepresentatives.Behavioral Competencies Note: These competencies are inaddition to MGE's core competencies reflected in the Mission, Vision,and Behaviors.
