PositionOverview The Maintenance Technician III will perform general repairs andpreventive maintenance. Supported systems and equipment will be facilityrelated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, refrigeration, controlsystems, and equipment located within office, R&D, GMP and Clinicallocations. The Maintenance Technician will provide support to ongoingprocess and procedure improvement and may also assist in a backupcapacity to the Senior Maintenance Technician in a variety of waysincluding, but not limited to, repairs and maintenance and assistingwith projects and on-call coverage. Essential Duties Include but are notlimited to the following: Communicate facility and safety related issuesthat arise from daily operations to the Facilities Management tocoordinate with internal customers, property owner and/or outsidevendors. Assist the team in managing spare parts for facility utilitiesand supplies as needed to minimize equipment downtime. Provideassistance in support of the facility and utility systems including butnot limited to electrical distribution, plumbing, HVAC, compressed airsystems, fire and life safety systems and emergency power. Enter,prioritize and complete work orders in the CMMS system. Completemiscellaneous facility projects including furniture/employee moves,mounting and hanging fixtures/art, remodeling and other facilityimprovements. Execute preventive maintenance and demand maintenancetasks with proper documentation and closure. Conduct daily, weekly andmonthly building inspections to assess the current operationalcondition, document findings, and take appropriate follow up actionfollowing applicable procedures. React to loss of electrical power andother utility outages, as well as assist in restoration effortsfollowing weather related events. Monitor and respond to facility systemalarms following proper procedures. Follow standard operating procedures(SOP) and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.
