What you will experiencein this position: As a Structural Estimator at Trachte, you will embarkon an exceptionally rewarding journey You will analyze drawings,specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare materialcost and labor estimates for modular building projects and siteservices. Your role will involve: Reviewing data to determine materialand labor requirements and preparing quote sheets. Computing costfactors and preparing estimates for planning, organizing, and schedulingwork. Conducting special studies to develop and establish standard laborand material rates. Consulting with sales, vendors, or other individualsto discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. Managing theestimating database and updating material and labor costs to ensureaccuracy. Analyzing completed projects to compare estimated costs toactual costs and identifying discrepancies. Providing improvementrecommendations to cost estimating procedures. Identifying cost trendsto assist management in cost reduction and process improvementefforts.You have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 yearsof experience in estimating, cost analysis, or project managementpreferred. Skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technicalexpertise. Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:primarily office-based.
