Senior Process Electrical Engineer

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professionalservices consulting firm, has a full-time position available for ahighly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer with our EPC Group in WestAllis, WI. This position is responsible for leading the processelectrical design for several simultaneous small to medium or a fewlarger food & beverage projects from proposal stage to project closeout.Responsibilities include: Create process electrical engineering designsat all levels of project definition (concept, preliminary, detailed,construction issue). Design raceway and wiring for low-voltage motorsand devices. Design device level network architecture. Design controlpanels for various applications. Develop project technical memorandumand reports. Perform equipment specification and proposal solicitation.Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment toprepare engineering and design documents. Create project specificationand scope of work contract documents. Assistance in project constructioncost estimating. Creation of project schedules. Carryout contractingbidding meetings, on-site construction verification, and project systemstart up. Visit project site to monitor progress and other duties perthe contract documents. Assist in project proposal labor structs technicians to reduce drawings and markups to workingdrawings. Use CAD on occasional basis for design and plan development.Attend client meetings, day or night. Assist in client contact andcommunication pertaining to projects. Occasional travel will berequired. The successful candidate must have: A bachelor's degree inelectrical engineering from an accredited college or university. Minimumof 6 years of engineering firm experience (or equivalent). Validdriver's license required. The preferred candidate will have: Previousexperience with Food & Beverage projects. Experience with AutoCAD, SKMand/or Easypower, Visual Lighting.
