Responsibilities:Participate in compliance and consulting projects for multi-statealternative investment clients (hedge fund, fund of funds, privateequity, real estate) Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helpingto provide subject matter/alternative investment industry knowledge andexperience Review tax calculations and information presented on stateincome tax returns Build and manage client relationships, and supervise,mentor, and develop staff Qualifications: Minimum five years of recentexperience preparing and/or reviewing state income tax returns forpass-through and corporate entities, providing technical advice onmulti-state tax issues Bachelor's degree from an accredited college oruniversity; licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM or MTX, in addition to others onKPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possessat least one of the approved designations/credentials when theiremployment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain atleast one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like tosee the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials forthe hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you withthat list Experience providing services to pass-through entities and asolid knowledge of relevant state tax concepts Able to fosterrelationships both internally as well as with clients Strong ability anddesire to...
