JOB REQUIREMENTS: Starting at $28.80 per hour Third Shift In thisfast-paced, high-energy environment where guest comfort is essential,how do we ensure our HVAC systems are kept up and running? As a HVACTechnician II, you will identify and complete assigned projectsthroughout the casino, and ensure all safety policies, procedures, andregulations are followed. While carrying out the job duties listedbelow, you will contribute to our continued success by demonstratingunsurpassed guest service, a high level of integrity and ethicalstandards, and personal and professional dedication to our mission,vision, and values. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (EssentialFunctions) Service and repair all Heating Ventilation and AirConditioning (HVAC) equipment including but not limited to heat pumps,variable air volume boxes, air handling units, roof top units,condensers, cooling towers, pumps, chillers, boilers, heat exchangers,water heaters, water coolers, water treatment equipment, coolers, andfreezers. Monitor and diagnose HVAC systems and equipment usingcomputerized building automation system. Make adjustments to thebuilding automation system to ensure guest comfort and efficientoperation of mechanical equipment. Perform HVAC preventivemaintenance, including inspections, adjustments, replacement of filters,cleaning of coils, and lubrication of units. Respond to and completemaintenance and repair requests in a timely, safe, and accurate mannerwhile ensuring high levels of guest service and minimal interruption tobusiness operations. Ensure maintenance tools are in proper workingcondition and operate equipment safely. Report any unsafe conditions tomanagement. Ensure adherence with all Occupational Health and SafetyAdministration (OSHA) requirements, as well as the company's safetypolicies, and procedures. Order, receive, stock, and maintain the HVACparts inventory. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentand storage area. Respond to emergency calls after-hours for HVACsystems on a rotating on call schedule. Provide assistance to otherfacilities technicians with servicing and repair of all including butnot limited to ice makers, walk-in coolers, freezers, refrigerators, andother related equipment. Perform job duties in full compliance withdepartmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications A high schooldiploma or equivalent, 5 years of HVAC experience, and formal trainingor completion of an apprenticeship in HVAC and Refrigeration trades isrequired. Completed degree from an accredited institution that is abovethe minimum education requirement can be substituted for experiencerequirement on a year for year basis. Experience with buildingautomation systems is required, preferably Niagara AX Framework and/orTrane Tracer Summit systems. Experience with HVAC devices such asvariable air volume boxes, air and water-cooled chillers and relatedsystems is required. Experience in Energy Wheel Recovery technology ispreferred. Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to the trade.Must possess and maintain valid certification for handling refrigerants,preferably Universal Certification. Office skills must include theability to use standard office equipment and general computer knowledge.The ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. The abilityto maintain discretion in handling confidential information. The abilityto interact with guests and team members professionally. The ability towork irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, earlymornings, weekends, and holidays. While performing the duties of thisjob, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb,balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office andproperty for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequentlyrequired to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, andreach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate apersonal computer. The team member is required to lift, carry, push,pull, or move objects up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 100pounds occasionally, with assistance. Team member must wear all requiredPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision,distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, andthe ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions The noise level isusually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor, the noise levelincreases. The facility is not smoke free. While performing the dutiesof this job, the team member occasionally works at heights. The teammember is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, wet and/orhumid conditions and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborneparticles.
