How you willcontribute: The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with theProject Management team assisting with estimating, change orders,coordinating with vendors and subcontractors on sprinkler projects. Youwill be a key member on the project team making sure field crews havetheir resources well planned and organized for installation efficiency.Additional responsibilities and growth within the project team and thecompany are limited only by your ability and motivation. Work alongsidecustomers and members at all levels of the organization by providingtop-notch customer service. You will be challenged to excel beyond yourexpectations in a team-oriented environment. What you need to qualify:Ahern will help make the most of your post-secondary education ideallyin Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or a relateddiscipline.Preferred candidates willhave 1-3+ years of experience,internship included. Candidates that have industry experience withmechanical contracting and engineering would be a plus. You can standout above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in afast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. Knowledge of estimatingsoftware and AutoCAD is a plus. A commitment to providing exceptionalcustomer service, thriving in a team environment, possessing strongwritten and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute taskswith a great amount of detail will be crucial.
