We're looking for a Release Train Engineer & Agile Coach to join our OCTO organization and help us unleash the potential of every business.What you'll own as the Release Train Engineer & Agile CoachBuilds and provides direction and day-to-day operations of one or more Agile Release Trains (ARTs). Scope may include technical and/or non-technical programs for a Worldpay segment or division.Provides transformational coaching in support of teams and leaders that allows for greater alignment with the organizational Agile Operating Model, in a way that respects and preserves team culture and best practices already being leveraged.Oversees and provides guidance to the personnel responsible for the organization's portfolio of deliverables. Develops and supports Agile delivery best practices, processes and policies to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals.Partners with multi-departmental leadership and other stakeholders to locate opportunities and develop and prioritize deliverables according to relevant measurement criteria.Maintains the effectiveness of the Agile delivery lifecycle, including such as scaled planning, risk assessment, dependency management, system thinking and continuous improvement stewardship. Provides executive management with forecasts of work, delivery status, system impacts and measurable improvements to delivery flow.Ensure that ART(s) and teams are leveraging the best application of the SAFe framework and Agile and Product mindsets and practices. Promotes continual growth of those in the role through direct mentorship and feedback on development and opportunities.Other related duties assigned as needed.What you'll bringExtensive knowledge of Agile ways of working including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP, DevOps, etc.Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation.Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry, e.g., ISO, CMM, Lean Six SigmaKnowledge of financial services industryKnowledge of Worldpay products and servicesEvidence of transformational coaching leveraging many different types of strategies with measurable successes.Evidence of critical thinking and creative problem-solving using root cause analysis tool and Lean thinking.Advanced skill in use of Agile Delivery software to manage work, e.g., Jira and Jira Align as well as supporting tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, etc.Demonstrated skill in managing value drops, expectations management and timelinesSkill in use of negotiation techniques to reach agreement when viewpoints varyExcellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to interact effectively with executives at both Worldpay and clientsAbility to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team membersAbout the teamOur Information Technology team keeps our Worldpay infrastructure up, running, and performing worldwide.
