Job Title: Accountant Flexible but San Antonio, TX preferred Pay Range $55/HR - $70/HR Jefferson Wells is working with a leading financial institution committed to delivering exceptional banking services and maintaining the highest standards of compliance and integrity. They are in need of multiple experienced Accountants to assist with year-end close. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements + Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes + Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal controls, and audit standards + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis + Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and strategic initiatives + Respond to auditor inquiries and maintain accurate documentation Qualifications: + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) + 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in banking or financial services + Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance + Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel + Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills _At Jefferson Wells (_ _ _), weu2019ve built a reputation for results-driven, innovative workforce solutions that help companies create competitive advantage.
