This 28 hr/weekposition requires working Fridays, Saturdays and two other full dayshifts between Monday and Thursday. BRANCH HOURS Monday throughThursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Friday, 8:30 AM to 6 PM Saturday, 9 AM to 1PM NATURE AND SCOPE Performs transactional duties to serve members byreceiving or paying out funds with high accuracy. Provides cash receiptand payment services in accordance with credit union policies andprocedures. Presents and explains a basic number of credit unionproducts and services to members. Represents the credit union in apositive and professional manner. REQUIREMENTS 1. High School diploma orequivalent. 2. Previous work experience with cash handling or customerservice preferred. 3. Must possess excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills andthe ability to work independently and within deadlines. 4. Must haveexperience or be able to gain proficiency in all programs and systemsused for this job. 5. Must develop a thorough understanding of companypolicies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must complywith all company policies and procedures and all job-related State andfederal laws and regulations. 6. Must be able to stand for long periodsof time. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Provides friendly, courteous, andexpedient teller and other related services to members resulting in abalanced cash drawer daily. 2. Cross-sells other member services. 3.Processes mail deposits and withdrawals. 4. May assist in balancing theATM (if not performed by an outside source). 5. May train to performopen/closing duties (with manager on site). 6. May train to verifychecks for other tellers. 7. May train to perform overrides. 8. May becross trained to help in other positions within the branch. 9. May berequired to attend training at headquarters or an off-site location. 10.Performs other duties as assigned.
