We're looking for people who agree that in addition totechnical excellence, it's about relationships GRAEF's SurveyServices has an exciting opportunity in our Milwaukee Headquartersoffice for an entry level Survey Technician with a primary focus onfield work and occasional office support. Working under the direction ofa Professional Land Surveyor you will gain experience in boundary andtopographic surveys and performing construction staking activities. Thisposition will allow us to expand our existing capacity to better serveall of our important clients. Primary responsibilities may include: Bepart of a survey crew using specialized equipment to collect, measure,layout, and record data about land features and property boundaries tosupport construction projects, land development, and mappinginitiatives. Processing and mapping Topographic Surveys. Preparingconstruction staking layouts. Utility coordination. We are consideringSurvey Technician candidates to join our GRAEF team who possess thefollowing basic qualifications: Recent associate degree graduate, or inpursuit of an associates degree in surveying, civil technology, orrelated field. Candidates with work-related survey technician experienceis a plus. Basic understanding of Land Surveying fundamentals andequipment a plus. Experience in Microsoft office, AutoCAD and/orMicroStation. Ability to carry up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license andclean driving record. Ability to work outdoors in varied weatherconditions and terrain. Occasional out of town travel should beexpected.
