Die Maintenance - Direct Hire

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description: Basic Function: This position isresponsible for maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting dies andfixtures before, during and after production runs to optimizeperformance and tool life. Reporting Relationships: This positionreports to the Die Maintenance Supervisor. This position is notresponsible for supervising. Authority: This position has the authorityto stop production and report issues to the Stamping Department Manager,Die Maintenance Supervisor and/or Quality Manager(s). Responsibilities:(What should be accomplished) Is responsible for maintaining andsharpening dies as determined after evaluation of condition andperformance. Is responsible for troubleshooting tooling duringproduction runs for quality or performance issues. Is responsible forbuilding new die components. Is responsible for identifying items to bepurchased and working with the Die Is responsible for maintaining toolrepair records in Plex.
