This position receives, stores, inventories, requisitions, controls, and issues parts, equipment, and vehicles supporting location-assigned vessels. The Lead will utilize procurement and asset management systems to conduct daily activities.Essential functions (responsibilities, tasks, supervisory needs)Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Guides and supports the inventory management of tools and equipment used to support vessel and facility-wide maintenance, engineering, and operations.Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPI's) to improve asset availability and reduce fulfillment cost.Monitors and corrects inventory levels to ensure rotation and resource optimization following inventory best management practices.Collaborates with stakeholders to investigate root causes of inventory losses, issues, or discrepancies, working with cross-functional partners to problem solve and implement preventive measures.Executes appropriate cycle counting cadence to verify inventory accuracy and control inventory loss.Assists in implementing inventory slotting strategies to optimize pick efficiency and material flow.Supports operation of Warehouse Management Systems to optimize accountable inventory control procedures while staying compliant with all regulatory agencies.Monitors demand and analyzes data to forecast future supply and logistical itiates requisitions for stock replenishment as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.Prepares and presents reports as requested to executive team and facility management.Assists with planning and scheduling of warehouse tasks, coordinating daily activities and resources to ensure timely completion of assignments.Fosters a team culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and engagement through regular feedback and coaching and promoting adherence to company policies and procedures.Will support Logistic, Shipping & Receiving activities as needed (SAP/EAM receiving, wrap strap, manifest, warehouse movements etc.)This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate range from $28.00 - $32.00Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package.
