Assembler level II

Assembler -- Level 2Physical Requirements:- Lifting 30 lbs. or less- Moderate machine operation Eligibility Requirements - Must be a U.S. Citizen Job Responsibilities - Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations - Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications - Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units per specifications - Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and perform necessary repairs Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent (see Education Policy below) - May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training - 2--4 years of experience in the field or related area may be required - Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field - Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines
