JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARYThe Terminal Technician is responsiblefor keeping the terminal running by offloading product, correctingmechanical issues in real time for our storage tanks and performingefficient operations and maintenance of the terminal. In addition, tocompleting general housekeeping for terminal grounds, buildings, andequipment. Will be responsible for receiving, tracking, inventory, andother paperwork. Will work directly with contractors, along withassisting drivers with loading procedures to ensure safe operations andadherence to all safety, environmental, and compliance regulations. Theterminal Technician is responsible for safe receipt, storage,disbursement, and inventory control of products at the terminal.Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm with rotating on call schedule.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for unloading, loading, transferring,and gauging products transferred to and from pipeline, tanks, trucks,barges, and railcars to verify and control inventory Follow all safety,environmental, and compliance requirements to prevent productcontamination, spills, and avoid product loss Train and assist driverswith loading and unloading product Train new drivers through onlinedriver training and site-specific trainings (PSM/RMP, Evacuations,E-Stops, Fire Extinguishers, etc.) Perform maintenance and housekeepingof grounds, buildings and equipment Receive, track, enter BOLs ortickets into inventory system Follow operating procedures and SOPs forreceipts, delivery, blending and sampling Monitor the quality ofincoming and outgoing products through inventory software and samplingprocedures Follow safety, environmental, and compliance procedures Trainand follow up with drivers and contractors performing tasks at theterminal to ensure compliance and product quality Perform terminalinspections on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual frequency Maintaininspection records utilizing internal inventory systems Maintain aprofessional image Live our values of High Performance, CaringRelationships, Strategic Foresight, and Entrepreneurial Spirit Find ABetter Way by championing continuous improvement and quality controlefforts to identify opportunities to innovate and improve efficiency,accuracy, and standardization Continuously learn and develop selfprofessionally Support corporate efforts for safety, governmentcompliance, and all other company policies &...
