Description: You will be the Mechanical Engineer - Level 3 for the Electronic Hardware Design (EHD) team which is responsible for developing flightworthy safety critical electronic hardware, embedded software, FPGAs, and test equipment for LM Aero aircraft programs and related needs. What You Will Be Doing As the Mechanical Engineer - Level 3, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for electronic hardware. Further Information About This Opportunity This role supports development and sustainment of electronic hardware and test equipment for Aeronautics programs. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree, with a minimum of three years of professional experience (or equivalent experience) u2022 Aerospace Electronic Product Development Experience u2022 Experience with mechanical CAD modeling and drafting Desired Skills: u2022 Experience designing mechanical aspects of aerospace electronic components (CATIA Preferred) u2022 Working knowledge and experience applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing u2022 Experience designing and documenting lab test equipment u2022 Experience with Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design and evaluation u2022 Experience in Cadence schematic capture, PCB layout Cadence Allegro u2022 Experience maintaining electronic hardware library (Cadence) u2022 Experience estimating u2022 Familiarity with LM Aero processes, procedures, and tools u2022 Functions well in a creative, high-tempo, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
