The Role Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations. This position is intended for the Fire Safety group in Test Engineering Department E25. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing and documenting 8010 fire safety related processes and procedures in support of establishing 8010 Fire Safety Manual implementation use at NNS specific to CVN 75 RCOH. This position regularly communicates with Construction Project, SUPSHIPNN, Navy, Department Leads and Engineers via email, phone, and in person meetings and utilizes Microsoft tools. Must Have An ABET Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant exempt experience; Masteru2019s Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience; Ph.D. and 0 years of experience. Nice to Have 8010 Fire Safety Preferred Qualifications 1. Knowledge and understanding of 8010 Industrial Fire Safety Manual for Fire Prevention and Response. 2. Aircraft carrier ship system knowledge and ship system interrelationship understanding. 3. Ability to effectively communicate orally with both internal and external customers to include: Project Construction Management, Trades, Test Engineering, Engineering, SUPSHIPNN, and Shipu2019s Force. 4. Above average writing skills in support of preparation of Fire Safety procedures and processes.
