Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you. - - - Key activities you will accomplish in this role: u2022 You will design automated test equipment (ATE), electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for system production tests, system validation and system level field test. u2022 You will work with a team of engineers for the development of Special Test Equipment that requires research, test equipment/system development, for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including Avionics, Control Systems Telemetry, Electro-Optical and Radiation Detection Equipment; radio and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components using analog and digital data acquisition and control systems, FPGA, real-time systems, computers; and control and test equipment. - - - To be effective in this role, you will need: u2022 Prior circuit design experience. u2022 3+ years professional experience. u2022 While no clearance is needed to start this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance , thus US Citizenship is required. - - - Why Lockheed Martin? Considered an emerging authority. u2022 Experience related to circuit design and analysis. u2022 Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Thus US Citizenship is required. Desired Skills: u2022 Understanding of Engineering Circuit fundamentals (analog & digital) and of product configuration control processes. u2022 Experience with designing automated test equipment (ATE), electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for system production tests, system validation and system level field test. u2022 Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentations. u2022 Experience with wire harness design and electronics assembly development and integration with the ability to trouble shoot and isolate the root cause of failure along with developing test plans & procedures tracible to the product and system requirements. u2022 Perform hardware engineering best practices to include requirements analysis, design, and test & integration. u2022 Experience with interactions, planning and coordination with cross-functional development teams and internal & external customers across multiple disciplines. u2022 Able to work autonomously and drive items to closure. u2022 Experience with CREO and Visio u2022 Ability to travel on occasion u2022 Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
