This position offers rewarding project challenges and anopportunity to become an important part of a well-established technicalgroup. We are considering candidates who meet the following basicqualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. EITcertification preferred. Relatable internship experience in constructionand designing transportation and/or municipal projects. Work experiencein WisDOT construction and designing transportation and/or municipalprojects preferred. Highway Technician Certifications preferred.Experience with Civil 3D software desired Essential job duties mayinclude: Construction inspection of WisDOT, county and municipalprojects. Assist in the field inspections of roadway and utilityconstruction including sewer system, asphalt and concrete roadways.Perform and review material testing of concrete, asphalt and plete daily construction reports, manually or electronically. PrepareAs-Built drawings. Design of highway and site development improvements,including roadways, site grading, storm drainage, water maindistribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, and other siteutilities. Preparation of local, state and federal permit applications.Assist in the preparation of design plans, specifications andquantities. Other duties as assigned.
