JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview America's Service Line, an American FoodsGroup Company, has an opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator at our GreenBay, Wisconsin location. The Payroll Coordinator will ensure thecollection of necessary information and documents for payrollprocessing. To be successful as a Payroll Coordinator, one should beable to efficiently coordinate payroll tasks and follow company policiesand legal regulations. As a Payroll Coordinator you will: Providepayroll support and processing for employees using McLeod transportationsoftware and UKG's payroll platform. Provide back-up for processinggarnishments, benefits, tax withholdings, and/or other payrolldeductions. Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improveefficiency and consult with Payroll Administrator to improve payroll andHRIS processes. Work with people managers to review and resolve issuesto maintain accurate electronic timekeeping. Maintain completeelectronic employee personnel files, records, and other documentationfor employees. Handle adjustments and reconciliations as needed. Provideguidance and instruction to people managers regarding payroll processand best practices. Support HR on an as needed basis with leave ofabsence coordination, benefits education and onboarding of new hiresincluding, but not limited to, I-9 verifications, new hire paperwork aswell as leave of absence coordination. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications (Required):Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work in the UnitedStates without sponsorship. Proficient with Microsoft Suite includingExcel, Word, and PowerPoint. Problem-solving skills with the ability todeal with and resolve ambiguous, confidential, and sensitive situationsand/or issues. Organized, with a sense of urgency and the ability tomultitask, prioritize, and manage shifting responsibilities in adynamic, cross-functional teamwork environment. PreferredQualifications: Experience with UKG and KRONOS. Knowledge, Skills, andAbilities: Associate Degree or work experience equivalent to 2+ years inPayroll. Knowledge of payroll processing compliance rules, regulations,laws, principles, practices, and policies. Ability to organize andcoordinate multiple tasks, differentiate among competing demands, and towork under time pressure to meet deadlines. Effective communication andcritical thinking skills. Proven ability to manage tasks with competingpriorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priorityand self-initiating other value-added tasks.
