The global supply chain also includes cultured and wild species from a network of trusted sources worldwide.Summary:The Sr. Sales Manager for Retail Sales will be responsible for executing and consistently performing sales activities for an assigned customer base focused within the Northeast Region of the US. The position is a remote role and based within the assigned region, ideally near a strategic retailer in New York, New Jersey, or North Carolina.This role will focus on maintaining and growing sales with current customers while pursuing new business opportunities with prospective customers in an entrepreneurial environment focused on integrity and personal accountability. The team member in this role will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with high-priority retail partners in the NE aligned with our strategic growth priorities.Essential functions (responsibilities, tasks, supervisory needs)Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential conjunction with leadership, develops and executes sales plans for their individual territory that align with overall sales strategy to reach or exceed sales dependently prospects and develops new and existing relationships with customers to support category growth while growing Trident's share in the Retail Sales channel.Drives volume and margin growth aligned with corporate goals and expectations.Presents, promotes, negotiates, and sells products to existing and prospective customers, leveraging in-depth product knowledge.Provides sales forecasting activities as needed and is responsible for accuracy of such forecast.Delivers effective product presentations and business reviews (both virtual and in person).Leverages and analyzes data to guide sales efforts and make informed business decisions.Manages travel expenses in order to maximize results.Negotiates pricing and coordinates on-boarding of new customers.Partners with other internal departments (Customer Experience Team, Category Management, Marketing, Credit, Finance, Supply Chain/Forecasting/Demand Planning, Operations, QA and Sales Support) to efficiently and accurately conduct sales transactions and a dynamic environment.Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volumes, potential sales, and areas of opportunity.This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $110,000to $165,000.Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package.
