Job DescriptionPosition ResponsibilitiesnnPick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customersnPick up returns and coresnDrop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programsnDaily collection of credit accountsnBuild and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveriesnAssist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction valuenMaintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lotnGeneral stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle countsnMaintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with salesnEngage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or servicesnOther duties as assignednnSuccess FactorsnnSafe driving and navigation abilitynAbility to use delivery board systemnFriendly and persuasive communicationnAbility to locate and stock parts Safety knowledge and skillsnOperating inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipmentnSales aptitude and customer service orientationnAbility to identify customer needs and recommend solutionsnnEssential Job Skills Necessary for Success as a DrivernnSpeak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers,0 peers and leadershipnRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manualsnUse basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needednConfidence in engaging customers and promoting productsnWilling to learn about new products and sales techniquesnnPrior Experience that Sets a Driver up for SuccessnnAutomotive parts experience is preferrednnEducationnnHigh school diploma or equivalentnnCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsnnMust have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordnnPhysical DemandsnThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
