Eagle Foods products are marketed and distributed across all U.S. retail channels, including grocery stores, club stores and mass-merchandisers, as well as foodservice and export, U.S. military, and private label business.Follow all plant safety protocolsPrepare facility equipment for cleaning by locking out machinery and covering all electrical equipment with plastic as neededUse approved cleaning and sanitizing chemicalsMust be able to complete sanitation documentation paperwork and RedZone accurately Be able to perform and rotate through several job functions within each departmentPerform cleaning and sanitation of plant equipment and environment in a thorough and safe mannerOperate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specifiedEnsure all quality assurance (Pre Op) checks are performed at designated intervalsEnsure accurate record keeping of performed testing and recording charts are properly documented according to company and regulatory regulationsAdhere to all current SOPs, procedures, and quality requirementsMaintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areasMaintain cooperative working relationships and communications with employees from all other departmentsObtain and maintain training, certifications, and licenses that are requiredPerform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required, or directed by plant managementHigh school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business or related field preferredBasic sanitation experience preferredAbility to work in hot/cold and wet conditionsAbility to lift/push/pull 75 pounds on a regular basisAbility to hose for an extended period of timeStrong leadership and communication skillsPhysical demands for this position require walking or standing most of the timeUnderstand the processes and expectations involved in safe chemical handlingExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesProficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office suiteKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality control processesStanding, walking, and climbing for 8+ hours a dayPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
