The Sr Manager assists in executing the direction set by the UX director for the overall user experience for the products built and deployed by the technology organization. The Sr Manager is largely accountable for people management, career growth, processes, and UX standards/influence across the team. What You Will Do + Informs internal design methodologies and processes and translates the UX strategy into tactical direction for design team members. + Ensures high-level UX company standards are consistently applied across projects; seeks to evolve design methodologies and processes with changing industry trends, tools, and technologies. + Facilitates the collaboration of team members with cross-functional partners as well as productive, two-way dialogue between the design team and technology partners. + Creates and/or leads the creation of standard operating procedures and objectives and key results to be consistent across UX designs, products, and team deliverables. + Controls project risks by analyzing and identifying trigger events, establishing contingency plans, and recommending ways to mitigate future risks. Resolves escalated design problems at the project or product level. + Leads a team in support of achieving the companyu2019s mission. Manages performance and fosters an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential.
