In this position, the Supervisor opens the warehouse and assigns daily tasks to the warehouse workers. The Supervisor helps manage the merchandise and product inventory and relays that information to purchasing. The Lead should understand the importance of business and operational efficiency and be organized with the ability to learn and prioritize based on business needs. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY u2022 Follows correct inventory procedures and is responsible for leading team members on month end inventory counting for warehouse spaces and reporting any concerns or issues to purchasing management for follow-up. u2022 Assist purchasing leadership team with inputting month end inventory counts. u2022 Partner with the purchasing leadership team to maintain business necessitated warehouse stock levels by communicating usages before, after and during events as well as on a weekly basis. u2022 Fills gaps between the management warehouse workers and hourly works to make sure that all inventory and goods are tracked and taken care of. u2022 Oversee concessions utility team members, including daily direction of staff to complete tasks as assigned and walking condiment storage spaces and giving additional direction when needed. u2022 Oversee warehouse team, including daily direction of staff to complete tasks as assigned to set up for the next event. u2022 Ensures proper control and handling of equipment including repairs and maintenance requests. u2022 Responsible for printing and follow up of premium pull sheets and non-charge stock sheets. u2022 Follows Levy standard steps of service. u2022 Employs good safety and sanitation practices, including monthly safety audits and completion of temperature logs for all warehouse spaces. u2022 Maintains organization in warehouse locations with stock and inventory, including making sure all products are properly stored, rotated and dated in accordance with Levy guidelines. u2022 Responsible for completion of daily inspections and submission of inspections to purchasing department leadership for review weekly. u2022 Responsible for the maintenance of the warehouse corkboard including workload break down, daily tasks, events and property specific materials. u2022 [Add additional location specifics here] ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES u2022 Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests. u2022 Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. u2022 React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations. u2022 Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day. u2022 Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. u2022 Ability to operate equipment such as phone and standard office equipment. u2022 Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly. u2022 [Add additional location specifics here] JOB CATEGORY Hourly, Warehouse REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will have at least 1-year experience managing a warehouse or similar environment. Attention to detail and an outgoing personality is preferred. The ability to communicate effectively by speaking and comprehending English, with the ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.
