Data Scientist Job Category: Science Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity: CACI at Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is looking for a Data Scientist to expand maintenance detection algorithms for Boeing F/A-18 aircrafts. Your expertise will enhance the Navyu2019s F/A-18 fleet readiness by developing case studies and anomaly detection algorithms for aircraft maintenance action Responsibilities: + Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various aircraft sensors, maintenance logs, and operational data. + Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards to ensure maintainability and long-term performance of applications. + Preform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in aircraft performance and maintenance data. + Design and implement anomaly detection algorithms to identify unusual behaviors in aircraft data. + Collaborate with Aerospace Engineers, Software Engineers, Maintenance Personnel, and other project stakeholders Qualifications: _Required:_ + Bacheloru2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science. + 0-2 years of job experience. + Strong knowledge of MATLAB and Python. + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. + Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. + Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance. + US Citizenship. _Desired:_ + Experience with PowerBI and SQL. - ________________________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
