Acaregiver in this role will work48 hours in a 6-week frame. Orientation is required and will be held from 8:00am to 5:00pm. A caregiver who excels in this role will:Provide direct nursing carein accordance withestablished healthcare organization policies,procedures,and protocols.Implement andmonitorpatient care plans.Provide supervision to LPNs,HomeCareAidesand families/caregivers involved in the care of the patient.Performaccurateand complete admission assessments and reassessments within a specifiedtime frame.Assesspatientfor safety risks,abuseand neglect.Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Assess and document patients' pain usingappropriatepain scale and manage patients'pain then.Prioritize and document patient problems based on assessed needs and problems in collaboration with patients,familyand healthcare team.Maintain complete and up-to-date documentation and files at all times regarding patient condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care and interventions.Escalate change in patient condition to patient’s physician asappropriate.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate from an accredited school ofProfessionalNursingCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)Basic Life Support (BLS)Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)or the American Red CrossOne year of clinical experience as an RN in an acute medical/surgical settingSix months of experience as aHomecareNurseValidDriver’sLicense(VDL) in Ohioand proof of automobile insurance with $100,000/$300,000 coveragePreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor’sofScience inNursing (BSN)Physical Requirements: Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $41.00Maximum hourly: $41.00The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
